Go to http://www.zdwebopedia.com/ and plug-in each type of memory for a definition. You might also look at http://www.net-engineer.com/ram-definition.html. Kingstons Ultimate Memory Guide is pretty good. You can download it at: http://www.kingston.com/tools/umg/default.asp. The Internet abounds with stuff on memory; just search with your favorite search engine. 4X obviously has a bus that is twice as fast as 2X (133 Mhz vice 66 Mhz); but there are other factors that are supposed increase speed substantially beyond that. From what I've read, however, you won't see much difference between AGP 2X and 4X, or even a whole lot of difference between AGp and PCI video adapters.
