That was typo. Should have been ICS = Internet Connection sharing in Windows 98 SE. The cable is probably a straignt-thru cable and won't work without a hub. Yes, I can make a cross-over cable for you at a reasonable price. I would go ahead and setup the network now. If you had DSL, I would set-it-up first. But, why wait? Larry
