UTP cabling is sensitive to EMI. I am looking to network 3 computers via UTP cabling. One computer resides in the manufacturing area with a lot of noise. Is it recommended to still use UTP? Can I use a combination of UTP for two computers and coax or fiber for the computer in the manufacturing area?
