Craig, Fire-up both computers and let them sit for 15 minutes... It may take that long to establish a netwwork browse server. Right click the network neighborhood and select Find Computer. Enter the offending computer's name like so: \\pcname. If that doesn't work, open a DOS window on one computer and type NET DIAG to initiate a network diagnostic server. Open a DOS window on the other computer and do the same. That will check the network at the Wind protocol level. If the test fails, try running the network diagnostics that should be on the floppies which came with the network adpters. Try switching PCI slots of the network board on the PC. If it is in in the PCI slot next to the AGP slot, you could have an IRQ problem with the display adapter. Larry
