Yes... but I'll add that that is always the last resort and you better be sure to backup valuable data and have all of the software and drivers to reinstall. The only reason I've written this message is I have seen many many customers make a terrible and expensive mess trying to "format" their drives to solve a problem. I "format" mine two or three times a year. Larry
