correct camera

I have a sony DSR 47, 60 meg digital.I would like to use it for my TV shows. my computer I'm using is H/P p631of, AMD ATHLON ii 630 quad core processor. The editing software is Vegas Pro. Will this be good enough to have a good clean picture for tv?
