I have spent hours on the phone with HP and they are no help.  I was dusting off my keyboard and some how I changed the keyboard language or something because now when I press the + on ten key side I get 8+ and when I press * I get *6 and when I press the number 6 on the ten key side I get *6 and the number 8 on the ten key side gives me 8+ and when I go to use the letters G and H, I get G5 and H6 and when I go to use this button ' I get this '- and my backspace button gives me this \

I only have 8 keys not functioning properly.  Please help.

Looks like false contacts in the trace layout below the keys. (Column-Row Materix problem)

Have you used a liquid and / or exessive force to clean the Keys?
If you used a liquid, you could have corrupted the Keyboard driver cirquit due to false contcts / shorts.
If you used exessive force, you might have shorted / broken the trace layout below the keys.

What does it do when you use an USB Keyboard at that Laptop?
That meight rule out any software problems.
