Buddies, what do you think how to choose a good hard drive? In my daily life, i like playing games, i hope it is fast.
I saw this 2TB Western Digital Elements External USB 2.0 Hard Drive ,i feel it is good, but i never use it,what do you think about it ?
And besides,i think it is a little expensive. How does it works?
I urgently need your help.

For games, the hard drive is not the critical factor.  You need a fast video card with a lot of cache and a fast cpu.  Anything running off a usb port is going to be slower than a more integrated connection.  The drive you're looking at is good if you want to store a lot of audio and/or video files, but it'll have little to do with gaming.

Well Westren is a good company provides a good quality hard disk. Yes 2 TB is a good selection as the size of today's game are massively increasing & if you want to store dozens of big games so, its good to invest in starting. But make sure you invest equal good amount in assembling a good gaming system.
