Have you been through http://duxcw.com/digest/Howto/network/win98se_cab/intro.htm? Are the IP/TCP properties on ME computer set to get the IP automatically? Can you browse to ? Larry

Thanks for the reply, I've managed to get the internet connection fixed on the ME by uninstalling my firewall (syngate) I now am at the point where my W95 can make the ME dail up a connection to connect to the internet via the LAN but I then get the 'page not found' on the 95 computer. Any ideas?

The Windows 95 TCP/IP properties should be set to get the IP address automatically. If it is set that way, Start, Run, enter winipcfg, select the network adapter and release and renew the IP address. You should see it change. Does it? It will probably end up being, but it could be something else. If you see it change, try browsing to from the Windows 95 computer. Larry

Sorted! I changed the TCP/IP settings on W95 as you suggested it now works. Cheers.
